The Rockies placed right-hander Jaden Hill on the 15-day injured list Wednesday with right shoulder tendonitis.
Colorado recalled right-hander Seth Halvorsen from Triple-A Albuquerque in a corresponding transaction.
Hill, 26, is 0-2 with a 5.06 ERA and two saves in 32 relief appearances, tied for second most on the team this season.
Halvorsen, 26, has posted no decisions and a 3.31 ERA in 18 relief appearances this season with the Rockies.
