Five-time All-Pro and seven-time Pro Bowler Justin Tucker is among several kickers attending a tryout for the New Orleans Saints, multiple media outlets reported on Monday.
The workout is the first for Tucker since serving his 10-game suspension for a violation of the league’s personal conduct policy stemming from allegations of sexually inappropriate behavior.
Former LSU kicker Cade York also is also expected to try out for New Orleans.
The Saints (2-9) reportedly are looking at kickers after Blake Grupe missed two field goals during Sunday’s 24-10 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. Grupe, who is 18 for 26 on field-goal tries this season, misfired from 38 and 47 yards before drilling a 33-yard attempt in the fourth quarter.
New Orleans coach Kellen Moore said Grupe’s performance was “frustrating” and stressed that the team needs to “go through this full process” to understand how those kicks were missed before making any decisions.
Tucker, 36, was released by the Baltimore Ravens on May 5 amid a sexual misconduct investigation.
Tucker has been accused of engaging in inappropriate behavior with several female massage therapists. Sixteen women have accused him of misconduct at eight high-end spas in the Baltimore area from 2012-16. He has publicly denied the allegations.
Tucker, an undrafted free agent out of Texas in 2012, is coming off the worst of his 13 seasons spent with the Ravens He missed eight of his 30 field-goal attempts as well as two extra points in 2024.
