Mari Dias holds a doctorate in higher education with a focus on emotional intelligence. In addition she is a nationally certified counselor, holds a certificate in grief counseling and is a Fellow in Thanatology-the highest identification in Death and Dying through the nation Association of Death Education and Counseling and completed the Complicated Grief training at Columbia University.
Moreover, Dr. Dias was a Fulbright Specialist to South Africa and a Jefferson Award winner, both in 2013.
Mari has worked in the field of grief, bereavement and end of life for over 20 years. She is a volunteer with Home and Hospice of Rhode Island. Mari is also the director of GracePointe Grief Center, located in North Kingstown, RI but also conducts home visits..
